Home for the Lavender Holidays

As business picks up, I find myself looking back at this past year in astonishment. What started as a tiny little lavender plant in our front yard a few years ago has turned into more than we could have ever imagined. Now our home is filled with lavender everything. Decorations, soaps, perfumes, clothes, art, food, and just about everything else. We fell in love with lavender slowly at first, and then all at once. A few years ago, if you had told me my world would be based solely around lavender, I probably would have laughed. If I'm honest, my dream for a long time involved a doggy daycare.... a bit different than a lavender farm. But as we slowly learned to love lavender and added to our collection one thing at a time, the dreams grew into something beautiful.

In 2021 we started our family lavender farm, Highland Lavender Farm.

In 2022 we started making lavender-based products for our home.

This year, 2023, we started Highland Bath and Body and now it has grown into a business with so much ahead of it.

I like to believe that everything happens for a reason and the events that happened have led the way to this family business we now have. Like all families, we clash sometimes in ideas and processes but ultimately we push each other to do the best we can and so far, it seems to be working pretty well!
